We haven't spent much time out in the garden this year. We
haven't had that much time to spend in it! Andy's been working on the
bathroom, working out of town some, I've been doing my usual couldn't
tell you what, and it's been so hot we've been lucky just to remember to
keep it watered. I spent an hour and a half out in the garden one
evening last month and didn't hardly make a dent. We had great lettuce.
It went to seed. We almost lost some onions for all the weeds growing up
around them, but I found most of them. We've picked, washed, cooked,
and frozen quite a bit of corn. Andy's pickled 14 quarts of pickles, and
I've picked several bags of butternut squash. What I haven't given away
is still on the counter in the laundry room ripening. It's just too hot
and the bugs moved in.
In no particular order, here are some older pictures of the garden. Not a whole lot to take pictures of now since most of it is picked. I will post pictures of the watermelon and tomatoes later.

Apparently since I don't eat cucumber I didn't think to take pictures of it. I missed the carrots too, but I'll try to get pictures of those later. I'm just trying to get caught up with pictures I've already taken. :)
