We're still saving up the money and finalizing plans, but the front bathroom remodel is getting a little closer. Hopefully Andy won't have to travel for a good stretch of time once the money's saved up. It'll probably be about a month long evenings and weekends project. He's going to custom build as much as possible, and here is the current rendering of choice (I'm sure he'll tweak it quite a bit before it's built):
On the left is a storage tower for towels, washcloths, and larger toiletries. Notice the towel bar is near the sink and not on the other side of the room! That was my one big request! We haven't decided the specifics on the mirror, but it will be cut down and have shallow built-in cabinets on either side. We've debated whether or not we want to track down a granite remnant in here, but haven't quite nailed that down either. All I know is that it's going to look awesome!
I love board and batten! This is pretty much the color scheme/style we're going for. All you need is a few small pieces of framed art propped up on a wide ledge and you're done decorating!
